Seven up-and-coming figures in greyhound racing had their media skills put to the test at The Meadows on Wednesday, taking part in a media training program Greyhound Racing Victoria hopes to expand into the future.

The community enjoyed a fantastic day filled with free activities including a rock-climbing wall, jumping castle, face painting, cricket clinic, petting zoo and so much more. Taylor Swift, Spiderman and The Hulk entertained the crowd and provided great photo opportunities. Children were able to get up close to the racing greyhounds giving congratulatory pats after the races, while a lucky few had their photo taken with the winners.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised over $800 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal through gold coin donations at the sausage sizzle and lolly bag/drink combo stands.
